communications

The way we communicate and source information is changing. We increasingly form opinions about organisations, products and services based on what we read online, including what other people say on social media.

The communications industry is changing slowly too - good PR is no longer primarily about securing positive press coverage, although this remains important. Effective communication has grown to encompass online sources,  what the public say on social media, and photo and video content.

I have worked as a parliamentary assistant, as a public relations consultant, and in communications in the third sector and for a European political party. Through these roles I have amassed a vast amount of experience in both ‘traditional’ and ‘new’ communications.
